Community rules
Version 0.1 · 15 October 2026
The Club is a non-commercial project for players and game creators.
Respect and safety
Critique ideas and games, not a person's dignity. Harassment, threats, discrimination, incitement to violence and sharing another person's private information without consent are prohibited.
Fraud, malicious links, sexual exploitation, sexualized content involving minors and attempts to evade restrictions through other accounts are prohibited.
Honesty and content rights
Only publish content you have the right to use, including avatars and covers. Do not impersonate a person or studio. Describe your game's stage honestly; a concept or promise is not a finished product.
Share meaningful updates about your games. Spam, mass reposting, buying reactions, bots and coordinated manipulation are prohibited. These rules apply equally to members and the ReStars team.
Follows and stars
Following expresses current interest; a star supports a post. Neither guarantees a purchase, a game's quality or a permanent audience. Members can remove a star or unfollow; follower numbers can decrease.
Changing roles or posting as a studio does not give an account extra stars.
Starfall and Star Rise
Beta status: automatic unfollowing and project inactivity rules are not enabled yet. Follows currently do not disappear because of inactivity.
The following is a draft mechanism from the original concept. These time limits are not in effect. Before launch, we will publish final terms and notify members; time will not be counted retroactively.
Starfall means automatic unfollowing due to inactivity. Star Rise means restoring follows at the player's choice. These names refer to follows; stars on posts are preserved.
Starfall — automatic unfollowing
The proposal is a warning on day 23 of inactivity and automatic unfollowing from day 31, for unreleased games only. Opening the feed while signed in, starring, commenting or posting resets the timer; background session refresh does not count.
Players will be able to disable automatic unfollowing or pin a game. The proposal is to enable it by default with a clear explanation when following. Star Rise will let players restore follows for 90 days.
In the planned ranking, follows from inactive players will not count, even if pinned. This is not a judgment of game quality. Automatic unfollowing does not delete accounts, stars, bookmarks or libraries.
Starfall will not affect follows of people, studios or released games. Release notifications after automatic unfollowing require a separate choice by the player.
Inactivity of an unreleased project
Projects have a proposed separate timer from the latest meaningful devlog, build, game update or author reply. Empty or repetitive posts do not extend activity.
- 0–60days: active, displayed normally.
- 61–120days: fading, marked as not updated recently and gradually lowered in ranking.
- 121–240days: frozen, removed from recommendations; the page remains accessible by link, followers are notified and unfollowed.
- 241–365days: archived, the page is visible only to its author.
- 366+days: project deletion, with 30 more days to export materials before permanent erasure.
The concept allows a pause of up to six months once a year. A meaningful update before deletion returns a project to active status, but does not automatically follow it again on anyone's behalf.
Authors should be notified of every transition and warned 30, 7 and 1 day before deletion. This mechanism does not apply to released games. Pause settings, restoring follows and exporting still need to be implemented.
Moderation and appeals
Report a violation through the content menu. To report a profile, studio or image, contact support with a link. Reports and support requests are accessible to the sender and moderators.
A moderator considers context and may hide content or temporarily restrict posting. Disagreement and good-faith criticism are not violations on their own. Decisions can be appealed through support; content hidden in error can be restored.
Explain what you disagree with and include a link to the content. Do not publish members' private information when discussing a report.
